Fasting is Healing!

Before I learned how to Fast Like A Mama, the idea of fasting was horrifying!


Why would I want to starve myself...

on purpose?!?


It didn't make sense to me! 

I met it with a lot of resistance. 


But, then I had the opportunity to see @drmindypelz speak at a conference and I realized the piece I was missing... 


FASTING IS HEALING!


It's pretty well-known that animals intuitively avoid food when they are sick to give their body's the space to heal. 


In fact, when my children are sick,

they don't want to eat! 


They'll go all day without any food, + although my mama bear heart wants to nourish them constantly, they are intuitively doing as their body needs to heal quickly. 


We are all sick on some level, purely from the foods we eat everyday.

Then add in high levels of stress + years of poor lifestyle choices... 

our bodies can't keep up!


Our food system is broken. 

It's infiltrated with poison. 


And, it's impossible for us to avoid the poison completely.


We can be conscious. 

We can make better choices.

But toxins are EVERYWHERE! 


Once I learned that when my body is fasting, she is healing, 

I started approaching everything differently. 


Instead of starving myself, 

fasting turned into healing myself. 


Instead of giving up as soon as the discomfort starts,

fasting taught me that I am stronger than my thoughts. 


Instead of feeling powerless by restricting my food, 

fasting gave me my power back. 


Fasting Like A Mama means incorporating a fasting lifestyle into the feminine monthly cycle to aid in naturally balancing her hormones, utilizing glucose properly to reduce her belly fat, and HEAL HER BODY naturally (and basically for FREE)!
